You might thrive in this role.Your responsibilities- Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on- Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process- Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations- Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries- Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested- Partake in various department-wide initiatives- Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable- Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions- Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll- Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments- Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, and reconciliation- Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP- Perform the month end close and produce journal entries under minimal supervision
